How to connect to your Minecraft server

Find your server IP in the Pterodactyl panel and connect from Java Edition or Bedrock.

Find your server address

  1. Log in to the Pterodactyl panel at panel.baires.host
  2. Select your Minecraft server from the server list
  3. On the main console page, locate the Address field (format: play.baires.host:XXXXX)
  4. Copy the full address including the port number

Connect from Java Edition (PC)

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition (1.21.x or later)
  2. Click MultiplayerAdd Server
  3. In Server Address, paste the address from the panel (e.g. play.baires.host:25567)
  4. Click Done, then select the server and click Join Server

Connect from Bedrock Edition

If your server has Geyser installed (see our Geyser guide):

  1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition
  2. Go to PlayServersAdd Server
  3. Enter the IP and port provided in the panel (Bedrock uses the UDP port shown in Geyser config)
  4. Save and connect

Troubleshooting

  • Connection timed out: Verify the server is running (green status in the panel). Check that you are using the correct port.
  • Outdated client: Make sure your Minecraft version matches the server version. Check the Startup tab in the panel for the configured version.
  • Whitelist active: If you see "You are not whitelisted", ask the server owner to add you or see our whitelist guide.

Tips

  • Bookmark the server in your Minecraft client for quick access
  • The server address does not change unless you request an IP swap from support
  • If you use a custom domain, point an SRV record to your panel address and port
